About
I’m a certified yoga instructor and I trained at the reputed Mt.Madonna Center in Ashtanga and Hatha yoga. In my classes, I emphasize on proper alignment and self awareness, which leads to benefits such as improved balance, flexibility, strength and focus. By the end of class, you’d feel relaxed and rejuvenated. In personalized private classes, i craft my classes to cater to individual needs and health conditions. I also offer group lessons for adults at all levels , and for kids, six years and above. Pre and Post-natal yoga focuses on soothing practices for the mother and baby. The class routine varies for all classes, while we still go over many of the core asanas. My classes usually incorporate asanas ( yogic postures), pranayama ( breath work) and meditation. Different aspects of yoga are explored to provide a wholistic understanding. Throughout the year, retreats, day-long or half-day programs are conducted to deepen the practices. I currently offer classes in person and online via zoom classes to all age groups at different levels. Every individual matters in my classes and i ensure you reap the benefits, yoga has to offer.

Yoga sessions with Madhavi have been a blessing especially during pandemic. Madhavi is very attentive to the needs, ability and stamina of the student and customizes the class accordingly. Class is balanced with a mix of asanas, breathing exercises, guided relaxation and meditation. I also appreciate that she has a special focus on the technique and ensures the student is performing the asana right way. Sessions have definitely been beneficial to my overall health. Highly recommend this program.

I contacted Mandhavi very last minute to request a yoga class for elderly residents - not a common request- not only did she reply right away, but she was able to squeeze this class last min into her schedule and the elderly clients LOVED it! Absolute best Quality of a yoga teacher and would highly recommend !

I have been a student of Yogabhyas for more than 6 months starting during the pandemic period. The yoga class has been extremely beneficial for my overall mental and physical health. I would like to particularly comment about my eye health, I have nearsightedness and these classes have helped me focus more and made me use less of eyeglasses. The class starts with warmups, and then asanas followed by meditation, absolutely love the structure of the classes. I would like to thank Madhavi garu for Introducing me to Yoga and help manage my stress levels. I would highly recommend the classes for any beginner who is looking for some good workouts.

This is truly the best yoga classes I’ve ever experienced. I’ve learned through breathing and meditation to control my anxiety. Since I’ve been attending yoga classes at Yogabhyas, my flexibility has improved and also diminished my back pains. The instructor teaches all levels of yoga which is also very helpful. After attending a session, I always come away feeling calm and relaxed. I’ve been taking classes for two years now and since Covid, her classes have been through Zoom. I highly recommend Yogabhyas!
