Betti and her daughter bartended for a family event for 65 people. I was so impressed with all aspects of their work. We didn’t want to serve alcohol, and Betti worked with us and created an extensive and delicious mocktail menu, and included lemon water, lemonade, and tea and coffee service. There were a couple last minute ‘hiccups’ on my end and Betti and her daughter were professional and understanding and able to roll with it and not miss a beat and still provide amazing service. I’m so grateful they were part of our event and would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Betti (Bettina Katsaros—a beautiful name for a lovely person!) prepared a delicious steak dinner with all the trimmings for my niece Riley’s birthday. Instead of taking everyone out to a restaurant, we celebrated at home over a relaxed, scrumptious meal—and I didn’t have to cook or wash a single dish!
Being able to enjoy the evening with our guests made the celebration especially meaningful. Thank you, Betti, for making Riley’s birthday so special. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful meal and the joy of hosting without all the work!

Bettina and her sous chef were amazing! The food was fresh, prepared perfectly, and delicious. They prepared appetizers which our friends all raved about. The meatballs were some of the best I’ve had. The filets were cooked to perfection! Our friends couldn’t stop talking about how delicious they were. It was definitely the highlight of our Paso getaway. They left the kitchen so clean, too! When we go back to Paso, I’ll be reaching out again. Thanks so much Bettina💕

We hired Kitchen Door to cater our backyard wedding for 120 guests, and overall we had a great experience.
Betti was incredibly accommodating throughout the planning process and helped us create a custom ice cream cookie sandwich bar, which was a huge hit with our guests. One thing we really appreciated was that there were no surprise fees for plates, napkins, and other essentials, which helped keep costs reasonable. Compared to many other caterers we looked at, Kitchen Door was very affordable while still providing quality food and service.
The food staff was friendly, professional, and worked hard throughout the event. The food itself was delicious and received many compliments from our guests.
My only suggestion would be around timing and preparation. Food service took a bit longer than expected, so I would recommend building in an additional 30 minutes to an hour for setup and prep time when planning your event timeline. This wasn't a major issue, but it's something future couples and event planners may want to consider.
Overall, we were very happy with Kitchen Door and would recommend them to anyone looking for affordable, flexible catering with great customer service.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All my menu plans are custom and at quote. Unless you have a specific item for me to prepare, I prefer to go over all your wants and need to create a tailor made quote for exactly what you want
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We go over your needs either on the phone or in person, I create a custom budgeted quote for your review and I send a work agreement specifically outlining my services offered along with payment options and then I make you beautiful food!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I come from three generations of chefs. I am certified with the National Restaurant Association, The International Sommelier Guild and The Institute for Integrative Nutrition
