FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have a standard pricing system for regular private parties. When it gets to something extravagant that's going to be in a ballroom, banquet hall, restaurant, such as a wedding, sweet 16, corporate, etc. I have a different standard pricing for those types of event. I'm always flexible, negotiable, fair, and willing to beat others prices.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually it would be a meet up on site or a phone call. I'd like to get to know my client on a personal level to understand what he/she wants for their event and to fulfill their wants and needs as a DJ/MC. Also I know times are tight and I'm always willing to work with my clients requested budget even sometime under it. Once all is in agreement between my client and I, then contracts are explained then signed. You are more than welcome to think about our discussion about your event before making your final decision and agreeing on hiring me as your DJ/MC. There is no pressure or hassle on any of my potential clients. I want my clients to make a sound and solid decision upon hiring me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
It doesn't really take to much to learn how to DJ. If you can keep stay in rhythm and beat you're good to go. Now when it comes to the technical side of sound and hooking up PA boards, mixers, speakers etc. All the training of hooking up sound equipment came from when I was in middle school doing DJ gigs left and right. Of course I learned on the way and studied things on my own through books and videos. No my church has me doing the sound, and I also do sound and DJ for one of the biggest comedy clubs in the world which is the Long Beach Laugh Factory.
