Affordable
I think in total I paid about $110 (which I gladly paid). Another quote I got started at $300 AND I was told, "You would pay whether we could complete the job or not." I was like whoa! But that was not Hector. Again, if he could not complete the job, he would not charge and that just said a great deal about his ethics.
The Job
The job was to put in some kind of hook up to connect me to the internet. At first, we thought it was going to be an easy job, but it turned a bit more complicated than we expected. However, Hector checked out all the outlets in the apartment, then looked outside and found the problem. He was able to rectify the situation and I had internet in my new apartment for my first night.
Professional
(a) Being Asian, I asked him to take off his shoes before entering the house. He was very respectful to the cultural rules in my apartment.
(b) He did not leave until he could solve the problem.
(c) He was very transparent about pricing up front.
(d) He cleaned up after himself.
(e) Again, he made it clear, that if he could not solve the situation, he was not going to charge me.

Before he left, I asked him a few questions about possible future projects. And the main question is: "Would I hire his services again?" And without any doubt.... "Oh hell yes I would!"
