FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies for providing a Stress Reduction Program and depends on location, number of attendees, and whether the two part course is given in one or two days (total of about 3-5 hours required). Please reach out to me for a specific quote. Regarding Personal Training there is no charge for our first meeting which usually consists of up to 60 minutes. Based on this initial discussion, we will develop an affordable plan that ensures you can accomplish your goals. I do not require long term contracts or commitments. Discounts also available for couples or friends who would like to work out together. Currently, you can begin personal training sessions for as little as $30/hr. Nutrition discussions most often occur as part of the Personal Training Sessions, but can be stand alone if requested. Please contact me for a quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Regarding Personal Training Services - I recommend an initial 1-hour meeting with new clients (at no cost) where we will discuss everything from goals, nutrition, past exercise history, past health history, and potential limitations. No commitment of services by the client is required prior to or after this initial meeting. An initial physical assessment may also be performed during this meeting; if necessary. By the end of the initial meeting we will discuss various plans and options for new clients.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent the last 30 years working in a variety environments including both the private and public sectors and I have observed one aspect that has consistently increased over time; people are stressed in both their home and work life. This is what fueled me to create an effective and truly unique program to help people reduce stress. I also spent the last 45 years playing and competing in a variety of sports including, but not limited to, soccer, baseball, basketball, racquetball, softball, cycling, and running. I also have more than 30-years of experience in a gym environment. I am a current member of the American Institute of Stress (AIS) and AFI Personal Training Certificate is current. In addition, I have personally gone through the challenging process of making major changes to my life with the goal of feeling better. This included completely revamping my nutrition and exercise habits which resulted in losing over 50 pounds.
