Our bathroom remodel project started on July 9, 2018 and ended on Sept 6, 2018. The project went two weeks over. The first couple of weeks was great, but things started to go downhill. Here is what disappointed us:1. Our project manager Ofri told us that for the entire duration of our remodel project that the crew assigned to us would be dedicated only us and not work on other homes. This was a lie; the crew didn't show up for the job on some days because they started new jobs. This is one of the reasons why our project was prolonged an additional 2 weeks. 2. There was no point in having a project manager -- we ended up communicating directly with the construction crew for updates. There was clearly a communication/alignment issue between our project manager and the construction crew. For example, the crew working on our bathroom never got a copy of the bathroom designs we agreed on with HQR. I got the copy of the design and sent it to the crew myself. 3. There were a few instances where we had short notice to go to Home Depot to buy stuff for the bathroom. I don't mind going but give us an advance notice and a list of what we need to get so we don't have to make multiple trips and waste our time.4. Our project manager kept telling us that work was almost finished when it clearly wasn't. He kept trying to rush the job and rush the crew. Due to the rush to finish and get paid, the work was very sloppy (wall scratches, dents, bad paint job); the crew had to spend another week redoing the work they've done to fix the mistakes.5. It was their job to buy our window. They got it and it was clearly broken, crooked upon opening. They said that's how the window operated, such bull. I wanted them to replace it, but we agreed to just get the window ourselves and for them to reinstall it/get reimbursed. I would've preferred them to take care of it and not have us waste our time. 6. The last of thing I'll mention is how irritating it was how the last day of touch-ups we were rushed to walk through it and literally a minute after our construction crew leaves at 7:15pm, Ofri calls us to ask if he can pick up the check at 8pm. This is the kind of inconsiderate behavior that we've dealt with. In short, we are satisfied with the completed bathroom, but was not happy with the project management. Had to let go of the small, imperfect things because we just didn't want to deal with it anymore. I would not work with HQR again.
Home Quality Remodeling's reply
Hi Brenda, This is Ron, the owner of Home Quality Remodeling. Thank you for bringing all of these concerns to our attention. First, let me apologize for your experiences with our company. We want all of our customers to feel confident that they are getting the best care during the production of their project. We have reached out to you privately; however, you have not responded. I would like to address a few things that you have mentioned in your review: • According to the contract that was signed, the project completion date is 9/1/18. The inspector signed the completion card on 8/14/18 and a certificate of completion was signed by the homeowner on 9/7/18. Verbal contracts are never made, and this is indicated on our contract, which was signed by the homeowner. • The bathroom installation was completed on 8/14/18, 2 weeks prior to the agreed completion date on the contract and the remaining work to be completed is the punch list. This is done with every job, by every contractor- not just us. • Homeowner told Ofri that she was not happy with the texture walls that we provided, therefore HQR provided smooth level 5 finish which is a $2000 value at no extra cost. • The window was installed, and the homeowner was unhappy with the way that it was closing. Our contractor, Jordan, went to Home Depot to purchase another window when he discovered that every window of that brand closes the exact same way. Ofri informed the homeowner of this and she was not satisfied, therefore Ofri offered for the customer to go to Home Depot, select a window of her choosing and we will not only reimburse her for it, but install it for free, which was done. • Once a project is completed, we call to arrange a meeting to sign the certificate of completion and collect the final payment. We apologize if you feel that Ofri was too quick to collect payment once the project was completed. Ofri felt that you were a delightful customer and we are sorry that these issues were unable to get resolved during the course of the project’s construction. I would still very much like to have a one on one discussion with you regarding the outcome of your project. I wish you the best with your new bathroom.

They are Angels in disguise. I am forever grateful to Home Quality Remodeling, I don't believe they know the kind of impact they have had on us :) We are one of the business who got hit really hard during COVID in 2020 and on top of dealing with that uncertainty we also had one of our front windows (These are large windows) broken into pieces by someone with no heart (obviously) so we were affected by that as well and it seemed like we could not catch a break and then I heard from Adrienne Villavisencio. She is a member of our awesome community and she told me that the owner of the company she works for Ron, from Home Quality Remodeling would want to help us out and repair our window for absolutely free! I was in tears when I got home that night. Adrienne said they are just looking to give back to the community and I told them about you. As a business owner myself, I was so grateful to know that someone who I have never met (Ron and his team) would want to help us out just out of the goodness of their hearts. We have been in business for 10 years and we have never had a year like 2020 so it was so amazingly overwhelming (in the best possible way) to have someone help you the way they helped us by replacing our window for free. They came in last Saturday and installed our brand new window, I met Ron's team and they were all so kind, helpful and you could tell that they love Ron because of the way they speak of him. And in the end you know a company by its leader and if the owner of that company has a good heart everything will always work well and I don't know about you but that's the kind of people I want to work with. Thank you Adrenne! We are so grateful for you. Thank you Roget! and thank you Ron and Home Quality Remodeling! you are changing lives and we appreciate you more than you know. PS: You will always have a home here at Transform FX Fitness!

Home Quality Remodeling! I am soo thankful and grateful to Home Quality Remodeling, I don't believe they know the kind of impact they have had on our local community! I am employed at one of the many business who got hit really hard during COVID in 2020/2021 and on top of dealing with that uncertainty we also had one of our front windows (These are large windows) shattered due to a heartless vandalism. One of the members of our community, Adrienne Villavisencio, informed us that Home Quality Remodeling was wanting to give back to the community and she had told them about our shattered window. She told us that the Owner, Ron wanted to repair/ replace our window for free to help us! This was a such an amazing gift and gesture and made such an impact on not just the Owner of our business, but the staff and members of our TFX Community! We will be forever thankful to Adrienne, Ron and everyone at Home Quality Remodeling for this gift they made and what impact they made on our community! Thank You! You are simply amazing
