Mike has been teaching my 12 year old and in just a few months he has learnt a lot. Not only that, this is the first time my son is enjoying a music class, and actually looks forward to his lessons with Mike. He is professional, kind, and very interested and dedicated toward what and how my son is learning to play the guitar. We are very lucky to have found him.Jul 31, 2020
Miko is a phenomenal teacher. He teaches my 11 yr old electric and me bass. We think the world of him. Covid came and he hasn't missed a beat - we continue to have zoom video sessions every week and while we miss the in person sessions a little bit - his virtual classes as also just as great. Highly Recommended!Jul 27, 2020
Mike has been great with my 7 year old daughter. My family has no musical experience so it’s hard to help her personally. Mike is always there to help when we have questions. After only a few months my daughter skills have advanced at astonishing speed. We have Mike to thank for that!Jul 23, 2020
I don't think I've ever had guitar lessons more informative and insightful than his! His extensive knowledge and genuine love of music helped me develop as a musician! Not many teachers of this day and age put as much heart into their craft as he does. Absolutely recommend!!May 18, 2019
He's really patient and has a great approach towards teaching that is very understandable at any level that you are in guitar. Mike has a great background working with kids so he really knows how to communicate with them. I would highly recommend lessons with mike to any of my friends wanting to learn guitar!Apr 25, 2019
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I am totally flexible. A large portion of the pricing is in consideration of travel time and cost of gas.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Typically, the first few lessons are a matter of assessing my student's knowledge, goals, and learning styles. From that point on it's largely about pursuing those goals and providing instruction that strikes a balance between being challenging, rewarding, and fun.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been playing and studying music for roughly 15 years. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Music at CSUEB.
