- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing includes all products (building and finish materials) that have been agreed upon, labor, haul away of any demolished materials, and taxes. Our estimates are broken down by areas of the project and are clearly followed up with a Scope of Work that clearly states the project's end goal. You will have a clear estimate showing where your money is going.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
There is an initial complimentary home visit to discuss the scope of the project. A detailed and all-inclusive estimate will be returned to the client within a week. Should design services be requested of the client, an estimate may take up to two weeks long. Once an estimate is agreed upon, a contract will be written between both parties that will also include a tentative work schedule showing the start and finish of the project. We will have several small discussions in between these events to make sure the job will run smoothly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have on-site/hands-on experience with projects that are not my own. I have worked alongside several designers and vendors to challenge my vision as a designer. Additionally, I have received in-depth training in varying areas of design (i.e. paint color, cabinetry, natural stone).
