Got the job done and turnaround times for the designs were good, but overall was not a great experience. Lei was awesome, but once the contract was signed and I began working with his team, my questions had very slow response times (slowest response was 7 days after I called multiple times and sent an email with 3 people on the email) and was not proactive in explaining why the design was drawn the way it was drawn.

I hired Cecilia Home to help me understand where I could locate doors and windows in my basement. Mason was very responsive to my initial inquiry and recommended doing a 3D laser scan of the home to allow for an accurate structural load analysis of proposed door and window placement. Within a few days he completed an initial site visit and laser scan and we discussed the tradeoffs (in expense, demolition, hold-downs, reinforced sheathing) of creating various sized door vs. window openings. Final architectural plans and structural design were completed over several weeks collaboration via email; we also had a zoom call so I could ask questions about the structural design. I am very happy with the end result and feel that Cecilia provided excellent service for the proposed price. Would definitely hire again.
