FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally, the filing fee in Riverside County is $480.00, so the standard minimum retainer is $2,750.00. Approximately, $750 of this retainer is put towards the Court costs, ie. service of process fees, filing fees etc. The remainder $2,000.00 is billed against the hourly rate. Since every case is different and may involve a great amount of document discovery and litigation, based on the points of contention, the retainer may vary.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At our consultation, the factual situation needs to be disclosed. From there a strategy is discussed and agreed upon so that the client known the process and expectations going forward to achieve the goal. The client is involved at all times and is provided copies of all documents prepared or received, as well as a monthly billing statement so that they know how their dollars are being spent.
