We can't say enough good things about Chef Reneé and her team at Luscious Bites. They catered both our wedding for 100 at our home in Thousand Oaks and the brunch the following morning. They did a fabulously wonderful job.
My family is of French heritage and filled with good cooks and foodies. So, the food part of the wedding was VERY important to us. We interviewed a dozen caterers, we went to a few tastings and even tried a several local restaurants in the initial planning stages. We were beginning to get worried that we would have to settle for less than we wanted until we met with Chef Reneé. Her stellar personality and her food at the tasting put both of our minds at ease and we knew that we had found the person who would cater our wedding to our standards.
The food was all delicious and beautifully presented - crab stuffed Chilean Sea Bass, Blood Orange Glazed Pork tenderloin (to die for!), Saltimboca chicken, Saffron and Roasted Garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus with grilled red peppers and onions, arugula salad with heirloom baby beets and cherry tomatoes, Japanese cheesecake with 5-spice caramel, triple chocolate mousse cups and an apple tartlett. The brunch the next morning was equally wonderful as well, I mean stuffed French toast do I need to say more. All of the guests raved about the food! And, their wait staff was perfect. It couldn't have gone better! With all of the stresses that a wedding entails, Chef Reneé and her team definitely wasn't one of them. She was responsive, flexible with our many changes and positive and upbeat. She even handle the arrival unexpected guests at the brunch with grace and without missing a beat. They are everything you could ever want and we'll definitely use them again!!
