Introduction: Hello new friends and musicians! Thanks so much for visiting my studio page, I am so excited to start our musical journey together! My studio, Notes By The Bay, offers private violin and viola lessons, competition recording preparation, orchestra audition preparation, and group ensemble sessions. We also run a music festival for kids during the summer! I strongly believe that music has the magical capabilities of elevating the spirits of both the listener and the performer, and am always fascinated to see how it helps us develop as humans. In addition to helping students develop their left and right hand technique, musicality, rhythm, and musical knowledge, together we explore the connection between music and spoken word. About me: I am a performing artist, soloist, teacher, nationally-represented Astral Artist winner, and entrepreneur. Education: Royal College of Music - Bachelor's Degree Juilliard School - Master's Degree Yale School of Music - Master of Musical Arts Degree Rates for 1-on-1 classes (Cupertino/or Zoom): 30 min classes - $65 (recommended for young beginner level) 45 min classes - $85 (recommended for intermediate level) 1 hour classes - $105 (recommended for intermediate/advanced level) Rates for group classes (3-4 students per class): 45 min classes - $30 (ages 4-6) 1 hour classes - $35 (ages 7+) I offer a limited number of sliding scale placements in my studio for talented students, and can work out an arrangement that works for everyone. Classes are available in-person in Cupertino, and over Zoom. Reach out today to schedule your FREE trial class!

Hannah is an incredible musician who understands both how to properly explain and teach, and also how to relate music to everyday emotions. Her experience as both a performer and as a teacher makes the lessons exciting, helpful, and something to look forward to all week long!

Hannah is a top-calibre violinist and teacher. She meets students on their own terms and is great at finding the right approach for each individual child. She excels at bringing out her students' musicality and helping them connect with the emotional value of the music.
