Painting fascia. Seemed clear what was being quoted. Sanding, priming and preparing for 2 coats of paint. John did a reasonable job on repair some fascia boards, but only after prompting. Didn't sand fascia boards before priming, as quoted. He said it didn't need it. When questioned about the dents and rough spots that were not patched or sanded, he said that it was the natural way the lumber comes. Began work without a written & signed agreement. Asked for Workman's Comp verification and Lead Certification. No response. Had to dismiss him prior to painting of top coats. Work was incomplete and below expectations.
