Ross is a great instructor! As someone who can be uncoordinated at times, drumlessons had seemed intimidating, but Ross made the process very approachable and fun.

ross has been teaching me how to play drums for over 3 years, and it's honestly one of the best decisions i've ever made going with him. not only did he help me learn rhythm (which i was very bad at in the beginning), but he also gave me a lot of confidence with his support, patience, and knowledge in drums. i am usually pretty shy and embarrassed when it comes to learning anything new, but ross made me feel really comfortable and was just overall so welcoming and easy to learn from. now i truly feel my drum journey wouldn't be the same without him. i literally can't recommend him enough!

Ross is the man! Not only is he legitimately such a great drummer, but he’s also very attentive to my needs when giving lessons and has always made feel comfortable about my skill level. 10 out of 10!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I keep my pricing simple and straightforward. I offer discounts to students who pay for the upcoming month's weekly sessions up front. I'm more than happy to work with families or students on a budget. I also offer a free short intro call so we can make sure it’s a good fit before starting.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to learn about your goals—whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your chops. We’ll set up a short intro call to talk through your musical interests and experience. From there, I'll build a custom lesson plan that’s practical, fun, and aligned with what you want to play.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started with video games like Rock Band, then quickly graduated to real drums—forming my own bands, obsessively watching YouTube drum covers, and spending hours trying to replicate them. That DIY foundation grew into years of real-world experience, playing live on tours across the world and in studio sessions. I’ve learned from doing, and that hands-on, passionate approach is exactly what I bring to my teaching.
