I have been riding with Tara for almost a year now and I am thankful for the opportunity to have become a part of her barn family at Full Circle Farms. Tara did a tremendous job with helping me bring my beloved 20 year old Warmblood back from an injury sustained outside of her care. Tara's extreme attention to detail and her wealth of equine knowledge was pivotal in my horse's recovery. Tara treats every horse in the barn like her own and carefully monitors their care, while providing a tailored riding program for each horse/rider combination. As a full-time+ CPA, I work long hours during the weekdays, which makes getting out to the barn to ride during the week nearly impossible. However, Tara has been extremely flexible in working with my schedule so that I can get as much riding time in as possible. Further, I know my horse is being regularly exercised and well cared for in my absence, which definitely helps me sleep at night. I am so lucky to have found a trainer who is willing to work around my schedule and who has taken a keen interested in getting me back into the sport after an almost 10 year hiatus. Tara is an extremely hard worker and determined professional who thrives on the accomplishments of her students. Her passion for the sport and love of horses seems to be the driving force behind Tara's motivation to go above an beyond. I can not say enough to emphasize how grateful I am to train with her.

Tara is a natural teacher. She encourages her students to think and verbalize what they've done right and what they've done wrong and how to correct it. She is a positive person and genuinely wants her students to succeed both in the arena and out. She takes advantage of teachable moments; encouraging them to watch and learn from others. She places a high value on horsemanship and making well rounded equestrians. Tara has incredible "horse sense". She understands that horses are a big investment and strives to protect it by schooling them regularly and watching for any indications that something is wrong. Both my daughter's riding abilities, horsemanship and our horse have improved under Tara. Overall, I could not be more pleased with our training with Tara!

I have soooo enjoyed the horses and the people at Bravado Farms!! Tara is amazing and so helpful. She has really been awesome and patient during my lessons and has helped me regain my confidence after taking a 12 year break from riding. I'll be sticking around for as long as she will have me :)

What a beautiful facility, very clean and kept up. My daughter has been wanting to take lessons for a long time but never was able to find a place with hours that fit our schedule. I'm so happy and so is my daughter to have found Quantum Training Center. Ms. Molly was very nice and I really likes how she explained the smallest details and why they are important. I also liked how she had my daughter take care of the horse before and after the lesson. Teachers her the responsibility of having a horse, not just riding the horse. We are very pleased and happy. I, just started my grand daughter Delilah, in training with Molly. At Quantum, located at Canyon Creek Ranch. Ms. Molly is a truly fine professional horse riding/handling teacher. As well as a wonderful caring person with children. She matched my grand daughter Delilah, with a "Phenomenal Intelligent" horse, named Sunday. Needless to say, Delilah and I are very pleased with the riding lessons, and look forward to a long lasting relationship, with Molly & Sunday. Grandpa Ed.

I came in with very little horseback riding experience and she has taught me so much in the few short months that I have been taking lessons. It is great because she not only teaches you to ride, but also how to care for the horse before and after the lesson. Molly always makes sure that everything is safe and most importantly fun. The facility is very clean and well kept and everyone is very friendly. I would recommend her to all levels of riders.

I have been a member of Cowboy Boot Camp for over five years and learn something every time I ride a horse, which is weekly. I have become adept at tack, grooming and riding, all because of Jim Moore. The experience of riding a horse on the gorgeous trails in Palos Verdes is exhilarating and soothing for the soul -- I highly recommend it.

Jim shows you how to ride a horse literally from the ground up. More than that, he shows and tells you why you are doing what you're doing. This is no new-age, horse-whispering class, but a practical way to ride and interact with horses based on what has worked for thousands of years. Jim is a true horseman.

I had never ridden or been around horses until much later in life. After joining CBC, I learned basic, valuable horsemanship, which I use and implement to this day. My horse and riding are now a big part of my life. Thank you Jim!

Finding a barn that has the "right" combination of trainers, instructors, horses, and facilities is a difficult and sometimes daunting task. While I've only been at Majestic Farms for a few months, I knew immediately that I had found the right barn for me. Any instructor will be friendly during your first lesson and enthusiastic when the lesson goes well. However, many instructors loose their cool when things start to go wrong. While it is rare to have a bad ride at Majestic Farms, it is particularly during these less-than-perfect lessons that Austin and Eric shine as instructors. Even when I make mistakes or get frustrated, Austin and Eric remain calm, focused and upbeat. They redirect my energy and end every lesson on a positive note. I've never seen either one of them loose their cool with me or with any other student. The results of this positive teaching and training philosophy are evident throughout the barn. There is a real sense of camaraderie both among the riders and their families. Other riders are almost as quick to acknowledge a student's progress as Austin and Eric are, advanced students are always around to assist beginners, and parents are quick to offer to carpool or help each other out in other ways. The lesson program at Majestic Farms is unique because it can accommodate any level of rider. The lesson horses are all exceptionally well-trained, well cared for and safe. As you progress and your ability improves, the horse you originally felt comfortable on might not be the right horse to challenge your new-found skills. As instructors, Austin and Eric will discuss with each student when they are ready to advance to the next level and because they carefully select and train horses in the lesson program they are able to match the student with the correct horse. Like other reviewers, I cannot say enough positive things about Majestic Farms. Austin and Eric are both excellent riding instructors and accomplished trainers and Jonny takes excellent care of the horses and the facility. And, on top of all that, they are reasonably priced. I don't know what more anyone could want in a barn. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else and bet that you won't either after giving the staff at Majestic Farms a chance!

I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about Majestic Farms! Due to a year long deployment to Afghanistan with the US Army, I had to make the choice between either selling my 3 year old mare, "Gidget", or finding a place to turn her out for a year. Luckily, I didn't have to do either as Austin and Eric came to the rescue! They have not only done a beautiful finishing my mare, but they keep me in the loop about her training and are always sending me wonderful pictures and emails which is a huge morale boost over here! I've never had to worry about the decisions being made concerning the well being of my horse as I know they take care of "Gidget" like one of their own. I had the pleasure of being able to attend one horse show with Majestic Farms before I left for my deployment and was more than impressed with their professional attitude while at the same time making all of their customers feel like family. I have been showing horses for 15 years and have never had more fun at a horse show than I experienced with Majestic Farms, and that is including all the shows I have won blue ribbons at! Majestic Farms is an outstanding facility with a wonderful staff who treat all their customers (and horses!) with the same respect and show equal enthusiasm toward their customers goals whether they are there for their first riding lesson, interested only in riding for pleasure, or own a world class show horse! Please check out Majestic Farms, you will not be dissapointed!

Joan Blank, an outstanding and professional rider that makes us as parents understand and feel the importance of this therapeutic riding. Yet, she has given as much as support as we need, by having us decide the best days and hours and possibly cancel due to Benjamin condition as she can offer, never lets her guards down. Joan helps on every step of the way, as she leads to reach us parents our goal, and by making i her own goal. Its been a couple of months that we have been taking our son Benjamin age 4yr , diagnosed with cerebral palsy and epilepsy, and as we look back on how he had started to now, Benjamin has improved his sitting and we noticed that his posture is stronger. I have to say thanks to Joan effort and dedication, including her volunteers/staff, by helping those kids with disabilities ride those wonderful horses that she has professionally trained in order to work the best way as possibly, on other words she is a NATURAL.

We love Dream Catcher L.A.!!! My son, who has cerebral palsy, has been receiving therapeutic horseback riding for a year with this organization. It has been, from the beginning, a very positive experience. The entire staff, instructors and volunteers, are incredibly passionate about the work they do. There is an intuitive understanding of how the relationship with these beautiful horses can help these kids, not just physically but also emotionally. Each program is customized for each rider and Joan, founder and instructor, is remarkable in her ability to connect with each rider. Her energy level is always high and she truly loves each child that comes into the program.

Brianna is patient as an instructor, kind and caring with her horses, and teaches more than just riding. Her lesson plan guides you through horsemanship, pre and post ride horse and tack care, and more. She is most of all enthusiastic. She certainly makes me more confident as an adult beginner.

I am enjoying my lessons at Canyon Creek Ranch with Molly. The facilities at Canyon Creek are beautiful and clean and well maintained. Molly is very friendly and great to work with. She is very good at getting me to understand why I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing, not just going through the motions. When she is teaching me, I have her undivided attention. She answers any questions and has an easy humor. She cares about the welfare of both rider and horse.

Head trainer Jessica Odom and assistant trainer Lacy Norris are two of the most amazing people I have had the pleasure to meet. Their devotion to their "job" (for them is not a job...it is their passion) and the kids is unparalleled, their main concern is pairing the student with the right horse, so the child feels safe and secure and enjoys the ride. I should know. My daughter has been riding at South Coast Equestrian for 10 years and has never been happier. After having a previous bad experience at another barn she was very hesitant to get back on a horse again even though it was what she loved the most; but with Jessica's and Lacy's love and patience my girl got back on the saddle and blossomed into an amazing and very confident rider, who not only enjoys riding but everything that has to do with the stable, from grooming and feeding the horses to aiding an ailing horse to mocking the stalls and everything in between, she can see herself running a farm in her future and is all thanks to her experience at South Coast Equestrian...they are the best in town!!!

My daughter has been training with Jessica and Lacy for 4 years now and has improved her riding skills so much. She now shows regularly and does really well. Jessica has a keen sense of which horse is good for which rider and guides her students to success. We have had a great experience at SCE and would highly recommend it.
