Would not recommend this bookkeeper. At first she was great did monthly meetings and picked up our receipts. Then she started to be late with work , unresponsive and stopped coming to monthly meeting and pick up receipts. Till this day she still has possessions of some of my receipts.
Finally we decided to part ways and find another service but it all went wrong from that point on. She wanted to charge up to current month even though those months weren't done or reconciled. I asked her to finish and that I willl pay those months but nope she wanted to be paid without doing the work. Basically she stopped work in January and wanted to be paid up to June. We could not pay two providers for same service. Just isn't right. Finally she locked me out of my quickbooks files literally deleted me and my current accountant. Wonder how she did this? Well she suggested that I make her an admin so that I can get 30% off on my monthly quickbooks subscription. Little did I know that this was a bait.
Anyhow after a few days of constant contact back and forth with quickbooks and opening a claim I was able to regain access to my company files. It was years worth of data. Just very shady and unethical.

I was needing help reconciling my business year to date and was glad I found Dora on thumbtack. I had learned that I needed a bookkeepers help after my CPA was no use to me in balancing my books at tax time. Dora was competent and personable, two powerful characteristics that make her great at her job. She was not rigid but flexible and allowed me to communicate to her what I thought I needed and then filled in all the holes. I learned allot from Dora because she was generous with her knowledge and this made the process surprisingly fun! It hardly felt like work!Thank you Dora for all you did!
