Oscar was professional initially, but halfway through after he took a lunch break and ran to Home Depot to purchase flooring transition strips, he purchased a number of items I did not need at all. When he returned it was as if he was no longer interested in completing the flooring nicely, he slammed his equipment on my floor and was not organized about his mess at all as he worked, it was a pretty big mess, where he did clean up 90%. Then I realized he may have possibly been upset because I rejected his over purchasing of items at Home Depot I did not need and did not accept. So, my floor did not turn out nicely. I have to pay another professional to repair it all. He likely does good work if you allow him to go over budget by purchasing items you did not preapprove. Then is work may possibly be excellent. If you stick to your original agreed budget and he may not be happy and may not complete the work excellent. In my case, I have to spend the same amount of money to have my entire floor repaired. I recommend discussing what your budget limit is and discuss any additional purchasing limits for clear agreement.
