- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After retiring from the United States Navy I went to school and received my BS in computer electronics. I started working for a small company building rugged industrial computers for DNC machine communication and part program loading. When that company did a major downsize I went out on my own as their authorized service and repair facility on the West Coast. My freinds and family kept sending people to me to get their computers working, so I decided to include my own computer repair and service business. I have been in business since August 2005.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Upgrade memory, hard drives, video cards. Install software. Remove spyware/malware and viruses. Connect to internet, install wireless router, network card. Optimize computer settings. After installing a host program I can remotely connect to your computer to run updates and diagnostics.
