About
My focus is on preparation and planning. I feel it is vital to meet with clients before their event to get an understanding of the ENTIRE event, not just the entertainment. The more I know about the clients personally, the better prepared I will be to make sure the event is perfect! I am blessed to have been a part of a wide variety of different events (birthdays, weddings, corporate events, 5ks, marathons, and more). I try and find people who are looking to take their event to the next level and deliver an incredible experience to their guests. It is humbling when a bride and groom allow me to be a play a part in their wedding. I also enjoy working with corporate clients. Working with businesses to celebrate milestones, grand openings or holiday parties is always awesome. Finally, I LOVE working with young people. From elementary school events, birthday parties, and High School graduation parties, the energy from kids is infectious!

DJ Hersch was the perfect choice to DJ our wedding! We had a great experience with him and would highly recommend him to anyone else. The first thing I really appreciated about DJ Hersch: the price he quoted at his initial quote was the EXACT price we ended up paying. No add-ons, no hidden fees, just exactly what he thought the job was worth. He even brought in some extra stuff once he saw the venue and told us not to worry about it! He's a very accommodating person. Once the event started, DJ Hersch was committed to making sure everything ran smoothly. He showed up early to make sure everything was set and then spent the extra time making sure the needs of my wife and I were met. He coordinated with the site coordinator, the officiant and the photographer to make sure everything went smoothly. He then made sure my wife and I kept to our schedule (which DJ Hersch helped create) while still playing the music we requested. He even bussed our tables once we were done eating to make sure they weren't in the photographer's shot! As the night went on, DJ Hersch walked the delicate balance of making sure everyone had fun while still keeping the wedding reception moving and on schedule. He also did a great job of injecting humor and fun into the event while still making sure all the focus was spent on my wife (and a little bit on me, too). At the end of the night, my wife and I planned on doing a sparkler send-off. It went off amazingly, mostly because DJ Hersch took over the planning of that and made sure everything with the guests, photographer and ourselves was planned perfectly. We didn't have to ask him to do this; he just did it. If you are looking for an experienced, organized and accommodating professional to DJ your wedding, I can not recommend DJ Hersch enough. He made our wedding even more special than it already was and we'll always be grateful to him!

Jeremy is an awesome DJ! I needed one for a backyard reception I had for my son and new daughter-in-law. The party was a big success. We danced from the moment the music started to the end of the night. From the very start Jeremy was so professional and personable. I had never hired a DJ before, and had know idea what to expect. He was so helpful. He started by sending songs to pick from and that helped me add many more of my own. I would use him or recommend him again in a heartbeat. And everyone at the party thought he was great as well! Thank you DJ Hersch, you helped in making my party a huge hit! Mona

I spoke with Mr. Hersch a few times via email, phone and also did an in-person interview with him before selecting him to be my DJ at my wedding. I met with 7-8 DJ's and I felt that Jeremy had the various characteristics that I was looking for. He was professional, open to last minute changes and helping with a timeline and he was always positive. My wife had several late song additions and questions and Jeremy remained helpful and positive and never came across as irritated or bothered. He was dressed nicely and professional at the service, did a great job of working the playlist in conjunction with the energy and disposition of the guests at the wedding. The sound quality was very good and he was courteous and professional with all guests and wedding members who interacted with him throughout the night. He did not make himself the center of the event which was important to both my wife and I. On top of that his fees are very reasonable. Overall we were both happy with Jeremy and we would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for a wedding.

DJ Hersch is amazing! We hired him for our wedding and he did an outstanding job. He brought in all the equipment that was needed for the event, did all of the announcements, and did a great job keeping the party going. Dj Hersch did such great job reading the crowd and playing music that they wanted to hear to keep it rolling. We had such a great time and a lot of it was due to the job that Jeremy did. I would highly recommend him for what ever kind of event you are planning. Thank you DJ Hersch!!!
