More often than not, my clients become friends that are more like family. Before your session or wedding, I am there to help you choose the perfect outfits, location, time of day and even your wedding day timeline based off your photography needs. It's important to me to get to know you and for you to get to know me. By the time you're in front of my camera, I want you to be comfortable! When you're comfortable with your photographer, your true self will shine through in your photos. During your wedding day, I'm not just a photographer. I am there to help tie bustles, ties, put on boutonnieres, ensure that we stick to a timeline, and calm nerves all why documenting with camera in hand. I believe that is what separates me from corporate photography businesses. The personal touches are so important to me. Once our sessions are done, I spend hours behind the screen pouring over the details to ensure that the delivered product is perfect. While retouching your photos, I am transported back to when the shutter closed and I am right there with you... laughing, smiling and sometimes crying. Capturing the biggest chapters of your life is such an honor and I'm thankful you've chosen me to be your visual storyteller.

After inquiring, researching, and doing our thorough homework with our picks that were provided by thumbtack. We decided to make contact with Jessica. Our initial contact with her was so positive. And than meeting her was just confirmation that we had made a very smart and satisfying decision. Jessica was warm, welcoming, and so professional. She's so attentive to the needs of your vision that it leaves you with a sense of confidence and assurance. Our engagement photos shot beautifully with precision and efficiency. The day of the wedding the only time I knew she was there was when she sweetly told me the time and asked me if I needed her to take shots that I may want extra to photograph. She also took the initiative to help my bridesmaids setup shots that I didn't or forgot to suggest. Jessica is not only your photographer for your special event, she is also your eyes as well, taking pictures that will be forever be yours look back on with appreciation and admiration. She's become our family's official photographer and I plan on hiring her for every single life's event!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jessica. She is so professional, so organized and one of the kindest people I've ever met. I thank God she was there to stop the time and capture our wedding day. She paid so much attention to even the details I missed. Her style is so relaxed and less posed/awkward. We already had our engagement photo session with Jessica and are absolutely in love with the photos. The pictures are beautiful! And we had a lot of fun actually taking them with her help to find the right poses. Our families who got a little sneak peak loved them as well.
Jessica was really fast in sending us sneak peaks and the actual photos as well.
Cannot wait to the pictures which she will be taking on our wedding day.

Jessica is truly amazing. We got married in Oceanside on Sept 12th and already we received our pictures. I'm just going to say what I told her, I honestly can't thank her enough, I cried like a baby as we looked through our pictures. I'm so in love with every single one! How did you get started doing this type of work?
Like many photographers, my passion started when I was a child. I am a veteran and after my service I picked up a camera and started taking animal portraits on the side. Somewhere along the way I was hired to photograph a friend's child and then a friend's wedding. From then on my passion grew into what is now BBP.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your research. Sometimes cheap doesn't equate to quality. These images will adorn your walls for years! Also, make sure you're comfortable with who you hire... it will show in your photos if you're not. And if you're hiring someone to photograph your precious newborn- make sure they're vaccinated, have taken safety courses, and are all around comfortable with newborn photography.
