I first hired Irving for what I thought would be a simple task—installing polycarbonate sheets on my old and shaky pergola, which had suffered additional damage from the strong winds during the Eaton fire. What started as a small job quickly evolved into a full transformation of our outdoor space into a beautiful, functional pool area that we now truly enjoy. Irving’s positive attitude, versatility, and genuine willingness to listen to our needs quickly won me over. He is a quick learner who approaches every challenge with a problem-solving mindset, always finding practical and effective solutions. Because of this, what was initially meant to be a five-hour task turned into a series of additional projects that he handled with the same enthusiasm and competence. Over time, Irving helped us with several key improvements around the house, including: • Rebuilding three decorative gate roofs that had suffered from water damage • Weatherproofing exposed wires for our outdoor lighting • Installing two toilets and pedestal sinks • Tiling a bathroom • Repairing and replacing rotted panels on our wood fence Irving is the kind of handyman who brings not just tools, but also adaptability, insight, and a commitment to getting things done right.
