When Julia and I started working together she did a home for a Wounded Warrior. This and her amazing eye led me to hire her for my office as well as my home.

We felt so fortunate to find Julia and her universal design work. A family member is struggling with a number or challenges and she designed her home in such a way to make it completely accessible to our family member while at the same time making it a real home! What a blessing

Julia was pleasant and responsive. I would suggest asking her availability up front and how many other projects she is currently working on. I informed her I needed to get started ASAP and she set up a phone call and in-person meeting only to then tell me she couldn’t start for a month and a half. Unfortunately, I couldn’t wait that long for window coverings, etc.

We are so sorry you had this experience! The initial (and free) consultations are to discuss the scope of the project and to make sure we have the time and attention desired to each project. Since the scope changed from the first phone call to the consultation it was determined that we did not have the time we deemed appropriate to make this project turn out perfectly while devoting time and attention to projects already in motion.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My goal is to work with our client's budget. Although we work hourly, we are happy to work with monthly hourly caps.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every client and every project is different. Because of this, the process is tailor-made to the clients' needs. However, every project starts with a complimentary consultation to identify the goals of the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After graduating University of Cambridge and Central St. Martin's in London, I began work as a fashion buyer and my interests expanded into textiles, color work, and patterns. As my ideas continued to evolve, I moved into custom furniture and interior design.
