- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Session pricing varies by session type and typically includes your session experience, professional editing, and an online gallery for downloading your finished images. Pricing starts at $125. Travel fees may apply for locations outside the Elk Grove area. I occasionally offer seasonal mini session events at special rates, so following me on social media is a great way to catch those. I'm happy to chat through the best session type for your needs and budget before you book.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once you reach out, I'll start with a quick consultation to learn about your vision, who's being photographed, and what kind of images you're hoping to walk away with. From there, I'll help you choose the right session type, location, and what to wear. On session day, I guide you through the whole experience so everything feels natural and relaxed. You'll receive your gallery of professionally edited images within 3-5 days (7-10 during busy season) delivered through an easy online gallery you can download and share.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been a professional photographer since high school, with a background in creative media from my time at Apple. I've worked in corporate portrait studios, school photography, and studied photography in college. I'm continuously investing in my craft through ongoing education in posing, lighting, and editing. My work spans family, newborn, maternity, senior, milestone, boudoir, and headshot photography, and each specialty has deepened my skill set in working with a wide range of clients and environments.
