About
My clients and their dogs are of primary importance to me. I want my clients to succeed in their goals and I help them as much as I can along the way. I actually listen to my clients and consider their concerns. I apply my knowledge and expertise to their concerns in order to succeed in what they want to accomplish. I love working with dogs and working with people, the two primary components in what I do. I am and always will be a student of behavior and body language in both dogs and humans. Every time I get to work with both, I am doing exactly what I enjoy most.

Shelly is the best! I brought my very fearful mastiff/pit puppy to her at about 3 months. We went through Shelly's Star Puppy and Canine Good Citizen classes. Sophie just turned 1 and is a different dog. She is friendly, happy and on her way to earning her Community Dog certification. I have seen many dogs come through the classes that were "off the chain" and not listening or behaving at all. Shelly teaches the handler, and the dog, how to correct the undesirable behaviors. Training takes time but if you stick with it, it will work! Thanks for everything Shelly!

Shelley has been an amazing help in training our Golden Retriever, Wade. We started with the basic course when he was about 7 months and then moved on to more advance courses. She has been so helpful and from the very first day we could just tell she loved her work, loved animals, and really wanted us to grow and succeed. I am so excited to be working on getting our therapy dog certification. She has made my life easier with training. But more than that she has made the bond between me and my dog so much stronger. Him and I are a team and it wouldn't have been possible without her help. She not only taught Wade but taught me how to teach him so I can keep growing and we are always working on new things. I am grateful for everything she has done and would recommend her to anyone!
