WOW. Jaquelyn is a total pro. Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect as this was my first time hiring a wardrobe stylist. We started with a closet audit. She made me a list of items to help complete my wardrobe. Since we had so much FUN, I didn’t want to go shopping without her, so I booked her again for a personal shopping session. The best part was when we married the old and the new. The outfit creation session was so much fun. I basically did a fashion show for my parents, kids, and hubby when we got home from shopping. My family, my coworkers, my friends, pretty much everyone has been compliment my wardrobe since working with her. Her follow up was AMAZING. I now just pull up my style book on my iPhone whenever I can’t find the right outfit. I couldn’t give Jaquelyn a higher recommendation!

I hate shopping, but Jacqui made the process so much less painful than it usually is. Best of all she met my request to do everything in a single day. She spent 10 hours with me going through my closet, shopping at Fashion Valley, and making outfits. I am so happy I won't have to shop again for at least a year. I have an outfit for everything. And when I DO have to shop again I will definitely call Jacqui.

I can't thank Jaq enough for her help with my wardrobe! We went through my clothes and created some great outfits with what I already had. When we shopped she was organized and I learned about some cool stores I had never been to before. We managed to find several new pieces. She took some photos that were really helpful and also confirmed that I wasn't that far off track in my fashion sense after all :) Her follow up was great with links to more of the items we were looking for. It was a fun day. I recommend using Jaq - answer all her questions and be prepared on your end. You won't be disappointed.

Jaqui took such great care of me! She patiently worked through my current wardrobe and did a full closet edit. She brought life to some of my forgotten articles and helped me to shop smart, to round out my wardrobe with versatile pieces that can be dressed up or down. She taught me simple things like a couple of ways to tuck in your top to make an outfit more sharp or give it some character, and assembling your week's outfits ahead of time to make the mornings easy. She also sent me a look book with pics of the different outfits we made and style notes about how things could be mixed and matched. I've been getting compliments nearly every day since and I feel like I'll never be stumped about what to wear again. Thank you Jaqui! I hope to do this at least once a year.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have a 30 minute consultation to discuss your lifestyle, wardrobe, and budget. I use this time to learn about your current style and where you want to take it. This is free of charge.
From there, my services are customized to your needs. Most clients hire me for three main services: closet organization, personal shopping, and outfit creation.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My fashion experience includes visual merchandising for Ann Taylor and Macy's Fashion Valley. I also worked in eCommerce for brands like Prana, Steve Madden, and Free People. For two San Diego Boutiques, I was an Assistant Fashion Buyer. Combined, I have over ten years of fashion industry experience.
In addition to my experience, I have also taken several courses related to design, marketing, and fashion.
