Don't waste your time trying to figure out yourself how to beautifully improve the look of your home. Just go ahead and hire Angela. I never thought my home would look so nice, 'put together', reflect our tastes & function so well -- some designers just recommend what they would do (or repeat what they've done elsewhere) w/o considering the homeowners personalities. Angela helped us in the remodel of our 1st floor including: choice of flooring, custom cabinet design & layout, wall colors, drapery choices, unique decor pieces yet not hugely expensive, etc........she used many items that we already had but she re-positioned more advantageously & saved us $$. She gave great recommendations to the experts we hired (tear-down, build-up, electrical, painter, floor-layer, etc) so our home functions just as we wanted. It's been 3 yrs and thanks to Angela we still look at our home and say we wouldn't have done anything different. She tied it all together for us. Net: hire Angela

Upon the purchase of our home in Escondido, we contacted Design by Angela via our search on the internet for interior decorators. After interviewing Angela, as well as one other company, we had no doubt who was best qualified to meet our needs. Upon our initial meeting, Angela was happy, upbeat, professional, and had many ideas to transform our real estate purchase into "our home". She willingly provided suggestions, detailing how she would transform her thoughts and with whom to contact. She was thrifty in her suggestions and thought of numerous ways to accomplish the prospective atmosphere and look we were trying to achieve, while listening to the budget that we could allow for such transition. During the next few months of our working relationship, we found ourselves calling her more and more because our faith and trust in her services were unstoppable. We have referred Angela to other individuals that were in our same situation of the "vision" of one's home but that question of "how do I get there"? We are amazed what she could do....in fact, it is moreover the question, what can't she do?! Furthermore, she has an endless list of contacts and contractors. When she calls for assistance and bids, those individuals and/or companies are happy to provide service, knowing that Angela provides a clear path for them to follow, given her precise attention to detail. Additionally, she has hand crafted floral arrangements to enhance the warmth within various rooms of our home. Angela is, without a doubt, one of the best individuals we have ever worked with!! If you think that hiring an interior decorator is too costly.....think again.....she saved us money because of who and what she knows!

We are return customers of Angela's. She has now updated 6 rooms in our home and we couldn't be happier. The most recent project was was to help us update flooring in our living room, a downstairs bedroom, and our stairs. We are super pleased with the flooring choices she made; they are high quality products, and her flooring contractors did better work than any previous installation we had ever commissioned. Her carpet installer did such a better job installing carpet on our stairs, that they now have an upscale look we didn't know was possible because he took the time to do a proper job carpeting around the bullnose edge of each stair instead of using the easier waterfall install over the stairs. The new laminate flooring and carpet coordinate very well with the rooms. We all love the new carpet on the stairs. Another phase of the recent job was to coordinate removal of old wallpaper from three rooms: our master bath, a downstairs bath, and our master bedroom, then choose new paint colors and help with space design and design in general with these rooms. The master bath and bedroom hadn't been updated since the early 1990's so they really needed help. Everything turned out great. The master bathroom needed so much help and her choices were so great that it isn't even like walking into the same room now. The master bedroom has been totally transformed for the better as well. Both rooms are inviting now and her work has helped increase the value of our home at a great value for our money. If you are looking for an interior designer, we highly recommend Angela for her ease to work with, her ability to listen to your needs, her consideration of budget (you won't find a designer who will bring you better value and style for your money), her practicality, her ability to work fast to complete a project (she wouldn't dream of having you waiting six months for expensive custom items to arrive), and her great contractors who do some of the best work we have seen for carpentry, flooring, wall finishing, wall paper removal, and painting, and who are all very reasonably priced, professional and extra helpful on the job. Her painting contractor stepped up and did extra work to complete our master bathroom and bedroom very quickly, and charged very reasonably for this extra work. Don't hesitate to hire her. You will be happy you did. If you are like us, we are not very good at interior design, she will not only do a better job but probably do it for less money than you could coordinate yourself.

It was always a dream of mine to hire an interior designer however I never actually thought I would actually get the opportunity to do so. I initially hired Angela to help me with one room in my home, however I was so impressed when I met her, that my husband and I decided to hire Angela to help us give our entire home a "facelift". It looks like a different home now. She helped us turn our very ordinary home into something extraordinary! I highly recommend her!!!

Be open minded to change, which is sometimes hard to adjust to. Understand that if you hire my company, you will not only get great design and a wonderful house to come home to, but you will also be spending less money doing it because of the fact that I am frugal with your money! I am known to work quickly and efficiently, and like to complete projects within a time frame that is working for you.
