To be honest with my review, I expected an average massage when I crawling up on Jerisses massage table with all my aches and pains. I am a fifty five year old contractor, I pretty much work every day some times late into the night, my work is my exercise,I do not make time for Yoga or the gym, I spend many of my days carrying heavy beams of wood and steel, hauling hundred pound bags of concrete up or down stairs, then on other tasks I will be on my knees for hours at a time if not days. I shared this same information with Jerisse because she asked me," what kind of work had I been doing and what parts of my body did I feel needed healing the most"? She than began my message explaining about the different regions of my body. She then stated that she has developed a technique has an ability to get excellent pressure into the most problem points explaining how releasing these points would open circulation into these areas that have been so locked up for so long. This is what my body has been needing ,I just did not understand where to go or what to do, like many others out there, we just lean how to live with our aches and pains. I have heard 'Take care of your body It is the only one you have", and now with Jerisses healing hands I feel much stronger, with more full range of movement, allowing me to stretch, reach and complete everyday tasks with out the aches and pains that limited movement in the past. Jerisse believes in my ability to heal my body and encourages me each time we meet, She has a positive, genuine,caring attitude that in not so common in her field of work. She has helped me lose weight and I have started eating better, using more homeopathic and herb related remedies as an alternative to your every day Doctor recommended anti-inflammatory and pills for aches and pains, She has a wealth of knowledge from her schooling as well as self thought remedies. I would not only recommend her I would suggest she be the change in your life and body you have been looking for!! I will continue to use Jerisse, I hope you do to, she is a great value for the money :)

I am impressed by her strength and confidence. She seams to know exactly where I need work done and hones in on my trouble areas easily. She knows how to track down the source of referred pain and tightening and works hard to make sure that I am healing with her sessions.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was hit by a drunk driver in 2013, for a year I went to physiotherapy and had NO relief, I changed to a chiropractor who recommended massage, I found a guy who charged $100/hour and thought it was so expensive, but for three days I was out of pain and didn't have migraines! I saw him a few times more and felt so much better. Then I saw Healing Hands school in Escondido,Ca and signed up!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I try to do a whole body massage but usually my clients come to me when they have an issue, so I focus more on that issue(neck and shoulders and back) but I also work other muscles that may contribute to their pain.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure they are able to give enough pressure and are affluent with the muscles, and that they have a good loving intention to help you.
