- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge for tax prep by the job - not by the form or by the hour. So if you're single, but you have complex property sales or compensation from stock options,etc...the price will be slightly higher. So don't expect the thumbtack quote to be your final price. We will tell you what the price is before we start work. We typically collect our fee before filing but we can ALSO have it deducted from your refund. Our business grows on referral, if you refer us to a paying customer we rebate you 50% of our fee. We can have your refund in your bank account in days NOT weeks!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll set up an account for you on our site so you can securely upload documents. You'll access our detailed Excel based questionnaire (we have web forms too if you prefer) and you fill it out. I'll email you follow up questions based on the documents you provide and your answers to the questionnaire. We can have your refund in your bank account in days NOT weeks!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Florida licensed CPA. California licensed tax preparer. I've done returns for VT, CO, NY, PA,NJ as well.
