Jayson did a great job helping fix a broken light switch and outlet. He even fixed a couple of loose wires around the house that looked like safety hazards. He seems to take pride in his work and I’d definitely work with Jason again.

Jayson installed 3 outdoor motion detector lights for us. He was very professional and we are happy with his work. He troubleshooted an existing circuit box to make sure that there were no issues, pointed out an old issue with the prior installation, and double checked his work to make sure that everything was installed correctly. He also tested the motion detector settings to make sure that the lights functioned the way we wanted them to work.

Jayson was professional and did an excellent job working in our new fixtures. We wired an awesome set of delicate handmade clay sconces and a bathroom fixture. Everything was taken with great care and installed perfectly. We also installed an outside nest and floodlight and that went perfectly.
I had a tricky broken doorbell problem that took much longer than expected to troubleshoot. Jayson went to the hardware store twice and came back the next day to complete the job properly.
Very impressed with the service, I’ll be using JDZ for my next project!

Jayson examined all my electrical problems. I thought my dryer was broken but Jayson found out it was just that it wasn’t tripped at the circuit box. Easy fix. He also found the problem with the switch for my garbage disposal. He was friendly and professional.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When prices may seem high , you should consider who you are hiring and what kind of credentials they have. Knowledge and experience are worth paying for. Doing it right is better than doing it twice.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically love to see the jobsite first and what actually needs to be done. Where and what will be installed and what needs to be bought to finish the job. Then I give the estimate. I can always give a ballpark estimate based on requested services but will eventually give a hard estimate so customer can shop around.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduated from a 5 year state certified apprenticeship and have now moved on to become a state certified journeyman electrician for many years now.
