FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate is $40 per hour I offer a Veteran's discount of $35 per hour, which also applies to spouses of U.S. Military Veterans as well. I also offer a Senior discount of $35 per hour for individuals over 55 years of age. Both discounts may be combined for a rate of $30 per hour for qualified customers. A retainer of 30% of the estimated amount of larger projects will be collected upon hire. 50% of the remaining estimated amount is due in 30 days, with the balance due on completion. Amounts are subject to change if additional time is required to complete the project. The efficiency and professionalism I apply to my customer's work is more economical than an in-house bookkeeper, and there are no payroll taxes, employee benefits or worker's comp burden to pay. There are no additional costs aside from one-way travel time for on site consultations.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I chose to pursue the accounting field because it is very enjoyable for me to complete bookkeeping according to the law.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs I work on are monthly reconciliations, payroll calculations, Sales tax and Payroll tax returns, and catching up on bookkeeping that had fallen behind.
