- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices include hair and make up services from a licensed professional, my services, and basic framing for printed artwork. Custom framing is available separately. Since each order is tailored to each client's needs, I cannot give quoted prices because it depends on what prints/albums the client decides to order.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. We talk on the phone to see if we are a good fit for each other. 2. We meet for an in-person consultation and needs analysis so I can answer all client questions and discuss the plan in detail. Clients book the session at the end of this meeting. 3. Client goes to the salon for hair/ make up appointment. 4. Client meets me at hotel/agreed upon location for session. 5. Client comes back for viewing/ordering appointment. We decide together on what photos are best and what kind of prints to order, and client pays for order at the end of this meeting. 6. The order is ready for delivery! When the order arrives, I contact the client to arrange a time for me to deliver their artwork and help hang it in their home if necessary. End with a big thank you!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been photographing as a hobbyist since high school, got my Associates Degree in Art from Folsom Lake College, then spent the next few years pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Photography from Utah Valley University. I currently study with a business mentor to help me further improve and grow my business.
