I would not recommend Able Services to anyone. I filed a complaint to get my money back. They charged me twice the amount that was quoted to link a garage door opener to my car. My garage door will not close completely or it mysteriously opens on its on all doing the day and night, after Able technician linked the garage door opener to one car. (They were suppose to link two garage door openers.)
I called the owner at least 4 to 5 times asking them to resolve the issues or refund the overpayment. They promised to get back to me last Sunday. After 3 phone call attempts no one has called me back. Able took me he would have someone out at my house the next day by 9:00 am. My husband and I wasted a whole day. No show, no phone call from Able.
I hired A-Door to install a new garage door unit because this company is untrustworthy.
P.S. They were extremely late by about 4 hours when they finally showed up to start the job. I should have cancelled out then.
Very disappointed, I am hoping that Thumbtack screen their contractors. My first time using Thumbtack not sure it I will use this site again because of ABLE!

Called and scheduled appointment for job. When it was time for the job, he did not show up. I messaged him and asked for his eta, he responded and said he was running late. After 3 hours of waiting, I messaged him again with no response. He never responded again to explained why he was a no show. Would not hire again.
