I can't say enough good things about Alex and his team at Santabay. I hired Alex to paint the exterior of my home. Knowing we would find some neglected maintenance there was more damage than we originally thought. Alex was completely transparent when any work needed to be added to the original scope. He left it up to me how to proceed and I gladly had them fix all the damaged wood, dry rot etc. I'm so pleased with the end result not only does it look amazing it feels like a solid new home again. Making this a stress-free project from beginning to end it was a pleasure working with Alex and his team. I will definitely be hiring Santabay in the future. Thanks again Alex !! Cathy

I hired Santa Bay to do some external painting work for our home in Cupertino and Colton did a great job on the original scope estimate. He was friendly, responsive, and a great communicator. Alex led the project team and once they started looking at the underlying wood they found some significant issues. I trusted their findings and Alex provided me with numerous options for handling the issues we found. They did a high quality job for us and took care of our property. Alex did a great job communicating on a regular basis with me. He sent many photos before and after of the work so I could see the progress and finished work. I would highly recommend them for any future projects.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    Since the start of the war in Ukraine, thousands of Ukrainian homes have been severely damaged by military action. Working as a nonprofit humanitarian NGO, in 2022 we decided to begin to work tirelessly to help lovingly rebuild Ukraine so that the Ukrainian people could be enabled to continue to stand strong against destructive military aggression. Fueled by this mission, between 2022 and 2024 we successfully built many temporary refugee homes in Ukraine and fully reconstructed civilian houses destroyed by the war. Through this charity work, we developed a deep love for fixing broken things and re-creating them in far higher quality than they were before tragedy struck. Importantly, thanks to the significant budgetary constraints of operating a nonprofit in a war zone, we learned extensively how to maximize quality for less cost. Breathing new life into living spaces became an enduring passion that we have now brought to the United States in 2025, utilizing the vital skills forged in war to bring our affordable, determined, passionate and precise contracting work to the California Bay Area.
