We recommend that you always book an appointment first - so that you can consult with your stylist about all your options available for your hair, for your overall look and for your overall maintenance requirements for your new look. Many factors come into play like your age, your present hair color, your present hair texture, your present hair condition and how much time that you will need too spend on making your new look last. Be honest with your stylist and truthful with your self (think daily maintenance + hair care product support that is needed for your look). Are you comfortable with doing the maintenance or maybe you would rather have the salon help you out more often with maintenance. Everyone's hair is different and you must be VERY comfortable with discussing options or solutions. This is an important relationship and you should make the best informed decision with all the facts. Book with the salon that makes you feel the most comfortable. Choose a stylist/colorist that you feel will treat you well and that you have a high degree of confidence with. Always ask for a free consultation first, before taking that next step.
