Tara did a fantastic job with our wedding photography. Not only did she take beautiful pictures, she also gave really practical and helpful suggestions as we planned for the day. She walked through the venue with us ahead of time and asked what types of things we really wanted out of our photos the group photos, the locations, the private moments, etc. She also had a helpful spirit and way of being that calmed us. We were particularly impressed with how she got great candid shots of our wedding guests and of little moments throughout the wedding day. Those shots really captured the overall feeling of the day, and we can easily return to those memories by looking at the photos.

Professional, artistic and a great person to work with. I knew Tara's work, especially her botanical design and other artistic pictures, and I was curious to see how a photo session for my website, I'm a classical singer, would be. I had right away the impression that for her it meant more than few hours taking shots. She helped me think and define which message I wanted to communicate. I have worked with other photographers but nobody before has spent so much time preparing like she did. The session went very well and we had a fun time, which was important to me also in order to relax and be natural; she has been very fast in giving me the final work. I love the pictures; she has a great eye also for props, and the fact that she is an artist is clear and really adds something very special. The price was very good too. I will for sure ask to work with me again in the future.

Tara is an excellent photographer. Really she is an artist with soul. Tara holds such a loving and light space. Tara photographed me and my husband during my first pregnancy. I was 8 months pregnant, feeling uncomfortable, big and ready to have that baby. Tara had us laughing through out the session. I was relaxed and open. The photos turned out amazing. I still cherish them, she created magic.

I am a lifelong learner. I continually add to my skill set in thebusiness and technical aspects of photography. Have you heard of Creative Live? It is my favorite place to learn.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to incorporate portraiture into my photography life because it serves as a balance for my work as a plant photography designer. Work in the studio is solitary and sometimes I need to get out in the big world and meet people.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Families, head shots for creatives and professionals.
