Dr. Sahota Chemistry Tutoring

I hold a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington, and I have taught chemistry at the university level for nearly a decade: general, organic and physical chemistry as an Associate Instructor at Indiana University and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Illinois State University, and undergraduate chemistry as an Assistant Professor before that. That matters most for AP students. AP Chemistry is a rehearsal for the college course, and I have taught the college course itself. I work with high school and college students across Fremont and the Tri-City area, in person and online: AP Chemistry, Honors and regular chemistry, college general chemistry, biology and earth science. My focus is on making sure students understand the reasoning behind a problem rather than memorizing steps. One-on-one sessions are $200/hour. I also teach small semester-long group classes in Fremont that meet once a week and run alongside your student's own school course, so they walk into each unit test already confident. Honors and college-prep classes (4-8 students, 90 minutes) are $75 per student per session. AP Chemistry classes (2-4 students, 90 minutes) are $110 per student per session. I am available 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, seven days a week.
