How do I find someone to fix my sprinkler system?

You can find a sprinkler repair professional by conducting a little bit of online research. This gives you access to their ratings and customer reviews. Some customers will even submit photos of their sprinkler systems that were fixed by the pros. But before you hire a professional, contact them. Ask them questions about their expertise, tell them about your sprinkler problem and request free cost estimates.

How do I increase water pressure in my lawn sprinklers?

Figure out why your sprinkler has low water pressure and determine if you need to make any repairs. There could be an issue with the valve, a leak or the sprinkler heads may need cleaning. If the water pressure is low in your house as well (check your water pressure regulator), the problem may be with the municipal water supply.

Why won’t my sprinklers pop up?

Several problems can prevent sprinkler heads from popping up. For example, here are a few possible culprits:

  • The valve is partially closed.
  • There’s dirt, sand or debris between the sprinkler’s cap and riser.
  • There's low water pressure.
  • There are leaks in the water line.

Contact a pro to help you diagnose the problem and repair it.

Why is one sprinkler zone not working?

One sprinkler zone could be malfunctioning for several reasons, although the most obvious one — a closed valve — is often the culprit. Check to see if the main system valve is closed. It’s easy to forget to turn this back on after repairs. Other causes for failed sprinkler zones are electrical issues within the valve, timer, wiring or solenoid. A common reason is a bad connection that needs to be re-soldered.

Reviews for Fremont sprinkler system repair professionals
Yuwei J.
After initial contact on Thumbtack, Juan setup an appointment with me, and we went over the repair plans, and he gave me an estimated cost for the job. During the process, Juan was courteous, listened my concerns, was able to meet my repair needs and provided recommendations. We finished the consulting appointment with him providing an estimate based on work needed. I eventually hired Juan to perform the repair. He arrived on time and started work right away. Work included replacing several broken sprinkler, replaced all heads and filters. While working on the sprinklers, we found out additional broken sprinklers, and he had to replace some broken pipe. I also made additional request to fix irrigating tubes for my roses in backyard, and installed a new smart controller. All in all, I'd say Juan did an excellent job, now my entire sprinkler system are working perfectly. He also gave me some advice on the frequency and timing of watering. The final cost is higher than the estimate, due to additional fixes I requested. The entire experiences was very pleasant, he was very responsive to my questions/concerns and kept me updated on work performed. I highly recommend Juan to anyone who's looking for fixing sprinkler/irrigation system.
