Absolutely Beautiful Photographs! I needed to get my sons senior portrait done & had less than a week to do it! We had already had his pictures done through the designated school photographer, but I was not happy with them. I wanted outdoors photos taken where my son looked comfortable and relaxed- not posed. I found Thumbtack while searching online for a local photographer and decided to try itand Im glad I did. I got several quotes & decided to try Shalon Bourdase at Collaborative Creations Photography because of the photos on her website. First let me say that by this time I had 4 days to get these photos submitted to the school for an award ceremony presentation AND I needed both digital & hard copies! I knew that was a tall order for anyone. But, from the moment I spoke to her, she made every step in process very easy for me. We scheduled the shoot for the next day, which was a Wednesday at a lovely little park on Alluvial & Clovis Ave. Check. She called & told me the proofs were available for viewing on her website that same night. Check. I had the most beautiful photos to choose from it made it difficult to choose just one for submission- so I chose several. On Thursday I let her know which ones I wanted. Check. I was supposed to submit photos to the school by 4pm on Friday so I was feeling a little stressed about the time crunch, but Shalon was on it. She met me with the photos on Friday morning, but I had forgotten to tell her that I had also needed digital copies-oops. So I showed her the one I was submitting and she emailed it to me within an hour or so. Check & check. Shalon was very professional, punctual & knowledgeable. She worked great with my son and made him feel very comfortable. If you want beautiful photos taken for a special occasion, then I recommend Shalon Bourdase. You wont regret it! Cecelia M

Shalon and christina did a great job!! They were so sweet and funny! My husband and I are not ones to like taking pictures but they made it special. I would absolutely recommend them and use them again, no doubt!!

Our wedding and portrait photography is based on packages and our boudoir photography is on an a la carte basis.

We love pre-session consultations. This gives us a chance to get to know you, break the ice, and ask you about your preferences as far as style, editing, and find out how we can best meet your photographic needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are always taking workshops, lessons, reading articles on new trends and upgrading our equipment.
