For my measuring method, I use a state-of-the-art 3D laser scanner that creates hundreds of thousands of point clouds every second! I can measure a 5,000 sq. ft. home in under 30 minutes compared to traditional scanning methods which will take days to complete. You'll then receive deliverables in PDF and DWG within 5 business days. Hiring me will save you a lot of time and money. What I do provide - I provide as-built services meaning I measure existing buildings to exact scale and translate it to a CAD drawing and deliver it to you in PDF and DWG. - I provide highly accurate 3D laser-scanned floor plans for you to GIVE to your interior designer, contractor, architect, real estate agent, or engineer to work directly on. - I can provide minor CAD operating services. What I don't provide - I'm not a licensed architect/engineer so I can not stamp drawings. - I'm not a general contractor that can pull permits or builds structures - I do not provide major drafting services for new construction or remodels

I was in the process of buying a new home and had a very limited time to capture a floorplan that I could then use for planning before the move in date. I reached out to As-Built a heard back immediately. Jonathan clearly guided me through the process and timeline, and set expectations he exceeded. He was prompt for our onsite meeting and quickly responded to all communications before and after the onsite visit. The technology he uses allows him to capture and create plans quickly, with excellent delivery, and at a cost lower than a typical architect or designer. I don't write a lot of reviews but honestly I was so impressed with As-Built I felt it was important.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Site plan - $650 + $0.05 / sq. ft. after 10,000 sq. ft. Floor plan - $650 + $0.20 / sq. ft. after 2,500 sq. ft.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will ask the person responsible for the project to - Have all doors to be unlocked - Windows to be free of any coverings like shutters, blinds, curtains, etc., (to the best of your capabilities) - Have dark areas to be well lit - Notify tenants at least 24 hours that I will be coming in to measure - Clean up any clutter, trash, or obstructions that would affect the scanning process - Typically clients provide lockboxes on-site for me to access the building without clients being present so that can be up to you to arrange. - Preferably to measure when the project is vacant/closed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
+10 years of experience in the building industry Worked closely with architects and general contractors to provide highly accurate floor plans
