- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my customer first, then I ask what’s the occasion for celebration and if they have a theme in mind, I ask if they would like me to make them a drink menu and make a list of everything needed for the bar. After I send them the menu and product list, they review it. Then we discuss arrival time, set up and service hours.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to National Bartenders School and Staffing of Los Angeles, where I learned about bar equipment, set up, recipes, liquor laws, taught by working bartenders in real world experience.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Since I was studying in college I always worked in service industry, at restaurants, coffee shops and wedding venues. Then I got into bartending and loved every aspect of it, interaction with guests, creativity, vibe and knowledge of all kinds of different delicious cocktails.
