FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
DJ's are one of the first to show up and last to leave. Pricing is based not solely on the amount of time mixing music but also includes preparation work (if any), time spent loading / unloading equipment and of course the set up and break down. An event is usually an 8-12hr day for most DJ's. Pricing may also be adjusted based on distance and services/equipment requested.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Establish contact and set time aside to discuss the details and ensure we are on the same page. Answer questions, provide insight and possible suggestions if requested based on my experience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Age is really the best experience. I grew up in the late 80's early 90's and was exposed to so much more great music through family and friends. I stay current by streaming new artist and subscribing to DJ Record Pools. I also stay tuned with social media, blogs, reviews, and talking with fellow DJ's on topics of industry changes. What's new in DJ equipment how the market is changing.
