Going in to this journey (online)I was a bit skeptical after trying to find the right person/persons for the job needed. I have gone to Craigslist etc and not found one I felt I could trust and would give me that internal feeling of doing right by me. I heard about Thumbtack through a friend and knew that this had to be what was needed to change what was suppose to be. I went on Thumbtack and searched and searched, I received my price range and that is when I found Jim Presti. He made a quote, and it was exactly what I had been looking for. Jim called me, Jim was very respectful, professional and understanding to my needs. He came to my home, met my husband and realized that what was needed what was what we had been looking for all along. Honesty, and following through with the ideas, questions answered as well with making arrangements and working around our schedule. Jim showed up on time, with the right stuff. Jim is one of a kind. He did a deck on our patio, and a back laundry room area, shelves, cabinets etc. Their was some minor plumbing issues. We decided to replace all of that. Jim made us very comfortable and easy going to talk to. Jim, I want to thank you for such a brilliant idea on the siding, as well the deck of color. I can't ask for a better turn out. Please know that you have changed our mind..of showing us that anything is possible. Jim, the patio, and décor of outside will allow us to enjoy a beautiful environment for outdoor living as we have many family get together' s. The winter months, with the new awning and summers are going to be a blessing. The lighting above and around the deck is so pretty, a more enjoyable atmosphere by pool side. The redwood deck is of beautiful coloring. The shelves can't be any more spacious than what imagined. Jim, your patience, expert status is amazing. Planning and design was such a busy place for me to be..but having you come to our home made it much easier for me. thank you Jim, for keeping your work space cleaned as you went along. I am very happy with the work. I won't have to come to thumbtack for future work...I will just call JIM.. So thankful for Jim's all, and view of perfection.

Excellent service. He answered my call and came out the next day. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Prior to Jim, we had 3 prior plumbers come out but they were unable to fix our problem. Jim was the first to create a solution and fix our plumbing issues.

Jim and Dave came out and did a great job. Their fees are very reasonable. They hang several pictures, did some touch up, assemble monitor stand and install towel holders in our office. Would definitely use them next time.

I have been a finish carpenter since right out of high school I took on plumbing and home remodeling because it is my passion I love to see work done right and seeing the customer happy at the end of the day we believe in keeping all of our jobs cleaner than they were when we walked in the door
