- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each quote depends on the specific details of the job. I always factor in the size of the band requested, the duration of the performance, and the distance traveled.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to communicate regularly with the client to find out exactly what they want. I ask a lot of questions and make sure we are on the same page. My goal is to come in and deliver exactly what they were looking for as smoothly as possible without any hiccups. For example, I will find out beforehand if there are electrical outlets available near the stage so that we are not scurrying to try and figure it out on the day of the event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been playing the saxophone professionally in jazz, rock, swing, blues, wedding, cabaret, concert, and show bands around the country for nearly 20 years. I currently perform in The Disneyland Band, along with other projects around LA and Orange County.
