We hired Chuck for our wedding reception only (cocktail hour, dinner, dancing) and he had the dance floor packed the whole night. We found Chuck on thumbtack as we were on a budget and he was fantastic! We met two times in person, the first time for the initial booking and the second for the confirmation of music and order of events. He took all of our song requests, triple checked that he had the correct song versions for the "special songs" (ie first dance, father/daughter, mother/son, etc..). He also took song requests that night during the reception from our guests. He also provided up-lighting for the entire reception venue. Chuck also helped us create a reception timeline and ensured he had the correct pronunciation of our bridal party. 10/10 would hire Chuck and All Occasion DJ's again for any future DJ needs.

We combed through a lot of DJs looking for the perfect match (we are VERY PICKY) and we decided upon Joe based on his professionalism, sample mixes (complete fire), and his value. We absolutely made the right decision -- he made our wedding reception the best it could've been with his originality and impeccable ability to read the room. He is better than your average wedding DJ - this guy knows music and will make you look very cool in front of your friends ;) Our friends love to dance, and we really wanted a DJ who could play our favorite vibey songs during dinner (Harry Belafonte, Sam Cooke, as well as modern goodies like Mr. Little Jeans), play parent-friendly funky hits for the opening of the dance floor, and then after the cake was cut and the parents head home, play an all-out club mix for our friends to dance our heart outs. We provided him with a list of our favorite songs and songs we didn't want played (basically I told him to not play any traditional wedding music or cheesy pop hits) and he was able to get our vibe and formulate a perfect playlist and mix for us. I saw my music-obsessed friends Shazam'ing more than once. He also had a sick lighting deal going on that added a really nice touch to the dance floor that I would not have thought of myself. Joe was on the ball with guiding us through the planning process and completely professional, kind, fun, and CLASSY. I cannot wait to throw another event so that we can get his talent on our speakers once again. I would recommend him to absolutely anyone and will sign my name on that. BUT, I had been to two previous parties where I had seen DJ Frankie play, and I had a blast at those parties, so I was confident about hiring him for my cousin's hip yet fancy high school graduation party.
