Ben was helpful experienced and knowledgeable working on a new song as a songwriter I was in a pinch having limited guitar theory. Ben’s intuitive ability navigated bad ass ideas he even sent me a music sheet based on our session which was really above and beyond!!!

My 9 year old son is brand new to guitar but loves it so he wanted private lessons. We've had two lessons so far but they've been great. I have been working with Ben for about a month now and I'm so thankful I found him as a teacher! I have been playing guitar casually and sometimes in bands for a long time but have been stuck in a plateau for the last ten years or so. Within the first lesson, he answered many of my very specific technique questions and we plotted out my guitar goals. Ben is amazing at figuring out your needs as a player while also integrating ways to make the process really enjoyable. In my time with Ben so far, I've already improved at my instrument and have changed my approach to practicing. I hadn't taken formal music lessons for many years, but I am now much less daunted by the progress I hope to make. He is an incredibly inspiring guitarist, patient, and his discipline is enviable. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In our first lesson, I will evaluate where you are at as a guitarist and make a customized lesson plan for you based on your level, goals, and stylistic preferences.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Music from Berklee College of Music. I've also been a professional touring musician for over 17 years. I currently play guitar for international-touring Video Game Metal band Powerglove, as well as national-touring Progressive Metal band Lattermath.
