Dani was great. He touched up my walls after clearing out my place so I could put it up for lease. He also did a few extra odd jobs and snuck in some unprompted ones too! I’d absolutely book him again.

Dani did a great job, he responded to the request here on thumbtack very quickly and came out the next day to check out the place and give us an updated estimate. He went above and beyond fixing the caulking for our molding and plastering in holes in the wall. Our unit looks so much better it’s a brand new place, we’re so happy with the results and how timely it was!

Unfortunately, my experience with Dani was disappointing overall. While the bookshelf turned out well, the painting lacked attention to detail. I understand that my walls aren’t perfect and I don’t expect perfection from a rental redo. Despite asking him to work a little more neatly, I found sloppy wall mouldings, paint splatter on the walls and floors, and spent about three hours retouching and cleaning up afterwards. He was also frequently on his phone the whole time and seemed distracted.

There was an issue with payment as well. The price was revised from $400 to $300 after I removed the crown moulding from the scope, but I accidentally paid $400. Dani initially questioned the $100 refund, though he eventually returned it.

Communication and follow up was also poor. After discussing additional projects and a return visit the following Tuesday (or another day that week), he stopped responding and never heard from him again. Overall, although some work was satisfactory, the workmanship, professionalism, and follow-through were very disappointing.
