How Clarity Vocal Studio can help:
-learn proper breathing techniques
-eliminate vocal strain
-improve your expressivity
-expand and strengthen your range
-preserve your individual style
-study foreign language and diction
-increase stamina
-learn about vocal health
-organically enmesh your acting and singing
-prepare for a role or audition
Having begun voice lessons at age 9, Claire has a passion for working with young singers or adults who struggle with shyness, performance anxiety, or low self-esteem. She understands the challenges of vocal vulnerability, performing in public, and getting out of your head (and into your body). Working with Claire, you'll learn to "put the pieces together" with tools to help demystify the vocal process.

Claire is an incredibly gifted vocal instructor. Her real-life experience and expertise translates into the value of her lessons, which are packed with technique, a variety of repertoire and are foundational for any vocalist serious about developing their abilities. Not many vocal instructors bring the wealth of lived experience that Claire offers, as a University of Michigan graduate with years of experience at LA Opera.
I would highly recommend Claire to vocalists we are passionate about honing their skills and growing into their full vocal potential!

Claire’s artistry is apparent the moment you hear her rich, powerful voice, and her empathic teaching style is defined by thoughtful guidance and high expectations — ideal for the serious vocalist aiming to level up their craft. With an impeccable academic pedigree herself, followed by years of regular professional voice work here in Los Angeles and beyond, it’s little wonder why I recommend her highly and often to my own students and professional contacts.

Claire was extremely patient as I am absolutely singing challenged. She always would come up with different options for me to understand what she was trying to communicate and that helped a lot. I would highly recommend her.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For your first lesson, please come with a song (anything -- don't sweat it!) which we'll work on towards the end of the lesson. The first portion will be about getting to know you, what your goals are, vocalizing, and introducing you to my teaching method.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have both a Masters of Music and a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance. I sing with the Los Angeles Master Chorale and Los Angeles Opera Chorus and work as a professional singer around the city. Teaching voice has been a passion of mine for many years now and it's a joy for me to help students grow into stronger singers and musicians.
