Tom is great. Very happy I found him. I did work on our bathroom renovation, including: vanity install (very tricky IKEA cabinet that other handymen couldn't handle), plumbing, electrical, patching & paint, window install, and stucco repair. I immediately extended him to do some work on our front and back doors. All great. And now, I've hired him again to build a fence and gate for us in the front yard. I will be calling him again in the future, and I encourage anyone reading this to do the same!

Greg and Sheryl are great at painting kitchen cabinets. We had additional cabinets in the Master Bath and bar areas. Cabinets were red/yellow oak. Painted them white. Also installed some European hinges. They were efficient, pleasant and effective. Their work transformed our house! Pur job came out great, and we would hire them again!

Don Burd is the nicest man you could ever hire to do work in your home. Beyond that, he is very professional with a high degree of integrity and an outstanding work ethic. You may think there are no true craftsmen anymore. Well meet Don. He takes great pride in his work and fulfills his promise to do things right the first time so that he does not have to come back. Watch him work and you will be amazed how careful and meticulous he is, never any sloppy work. He really cares and will treat your home as if it were his own. Don is clean and organized and will respect your house. He cleans up after each day and never leaves a mess. We hired Don to sand and refinish the 19 year old engineered wood floors in the kitchen that were badly scratched with the factory finish starting to wear out. Now they look like new floors. And there was hardly any dust because he cleans as he goes. He did an outstanding job for a reasonable price! Now, we have asked Don to come back and install wood floors in two rooms that currently have carpet. I'll post later to let you know how that goes. Review on 2nd job - Having used Don in the past, deciding to hire Fancy Floors for another job was a no brainer. He did not disappoint. He did an absolutely beautiful job refinishing our adjoining kitchen and family room floors. The floors shine like never before. Don's work ethic and honesty is beyond reproach. You can trust him with the keys to your house. And his prices are extremely reasonable.

Kevin Ghazarian worked with me on a variety of prominent projects at my home. In all aspects from budgeting, design, planning and organization of the construction schedule, he was a tremendous asset. On each home improvement he displayed exceptional qualities of creative-problem solving, fortitude as a leader and task-master and attention to detail in design and craftsmanship. I am very pleased on how well the projects turned out, which is due largely to his professional contributions. Highlights of projects are described as follows: 1. Interior painting of several rooms and kitchen. The design motif was a traditional Tuscani color scheme. The original and uniquely beautiful architectural elements such as the curved kitchen cabinets, wordolf walls, crown mouldings, bay windows and fire place mantel pieces were individually painted separate colors. This was challenging in its multi color design and tedious attention to painting the details. In two rooms alone there were 15 different colors used, all of which had to be the perfect color and hue. 2. Installation of wood floors. A beautiful distressed antique wood flooring was installed in the kitchen, pantry, bathroom and large family room. This involved subfloor demolition, removal and replacement, and the detailed installation of wood flooring and moulding. The hard, back breaking work required a number of workers managed by Kevin. As a result, the work flow was systematically optimized and “driven” until the project’s completion. Kevin was a relentless task master and has many skills as a talented worker. 3. Electrical rewiring of bathroom and hallway. The old wiring was faulty and insufficient and new wiring was pulled and replaced. All ceiling light fixtures, electrical outlets and switches were chosen and installed. A 3 way switch system was a necessity and was devised quickly and installed correctly to code by Kevin. This all required the knowledge and skill of a trained electrician. 4. Construction of exterior deck. This project involved much post production planning and design. “Trek” decking materials, sub deck foundations, metal piers, treated lumber of all sizes, and all the special screws and bolts needed to be estimated and purchased for this large construction project. Unlike a simple rectangular shape, this deck was complex in design with multiple angles, levels and steps. Cutting perfect angles and lengths of Trek decking were a necessity in order for this deck to turn out as provocative and beautiful as it did.

Ron and his crew did a great job replacing and repainting the wood paneling on the exterior of my home as well as fixing drywall cracks/ holes in the interior. He was very thorough about explaining all aspects of the quote (which was VERY FAIR by the way) and did an amazing job. We hired Tj to redo a master bedroom that had mold issue. He took care of the mold first, cleaned everything, paint all the walls and ceiling after putting an anti mold primer, replaced a sliding glass door and put new carpet and an exhaust system in the master bath and trim down all the doors for improved airflow. Anyway he did a fantastic job. the room looks so nice. Tj is a real professional, with a great knowledge and great ideas. We were very impressed with the results. So much that we now asked him to replace the sliding glass door that is in the living room leading to the deck. Very honest and not pushy, Tj has surpassed our expectations. I definitely will keep his contact information for any other projects we may have.

Karmin excels in the capacity as an all-around handyman because of his knowledge and skills in both electrical and plumbing work. This combined skill-set enable him to complete a bathroom make-over project for our rental property in a relative short timeframe. I was extremely satisfied in working with Karim because he understood my wants/needs and came out with a plan to achieved them. His attention for details is commendable, e.g., new light fixture and mirror aligned in balance, trim and caulking done perfectly, and walls prepped correctly for painting. The high quality of his work was evidenced in the installation of a ceiling fan and new electrical outlets, along with plumbing connection to the new vanity combo unit. Karim kept me updated on major aspect of the project and he responded back to my calls/texts in a timely manner. I have extreme confident in his competencies for other repairs and improvement projects when needed. I highly recommend Karim.

Craig is an excellent craftsman, experienced, and great to work with. He installed 6 interior doors for me - very pleased with the result and his rates were very competitive. I did some of the trim work myself and Craig provided some insiders tips to help me do the job like a pro. Craig is personable and I would use him again for other projects and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a woodworking craftsman.

We hired Cova Construction to install a new garage back door and a security door. They arrived on time, and were ready to work. They installed both doors, new locks and new trim. They cleaned up after they completed their jobs. The work was thorough and completed to our satisfaction. Good quality work. I had no issues with the doors, they work perfectly. We have some other work we would like to have done and we will definitely hire Cova Construction to complete those jobs for us. They were on time, finished work in a timely manner and are very professional.

Ross is an excellent guy. We wanted to remove an old ridge cap and install a new roof ridge cap. He contacted and gave me a reasonable quote, came on time to start the work, and finished everything fast. Was happy with his work and gave him another job to remove an old solar water heater system sitting on the roof. I would definitely call him for few more things that need to get done around the house. Thanks Ross.

I have used Juan for several years as a handyman fixing various household items like 1) replacing water damaged drywall, 2) installing window mounted ac units, 3) small plumbing tasks (snaking drains, installing toilets, calking to avoid water leaks). Juan is very reliable and honest. He is a great long term handyman to know. Always willing to do handyman jobs at a fair price. Very easy to work with.

Scott Nason is the only Handyman that I will ever use.  He painted four rooms.  He repaired my fence and low voltage landscape lighting.  He fixed a bad case of dry rot in my exterior doors and exterior window frame and trim and fixed a major dry rot situation in my laundry room after installing a new water heater. He removed decades-old oil stains in my carport then refinished the concrete to match the exterior of my home.  He put up extra shelving in my storage shed and laundry room.  In a bathroom he removed and replaced tiles so the plumber could access the fixture that was being replaced and then put in a new sink and faucet, tiled the countertop in marble, slate and ascents, then put in a new mirror and lighting fixture.  He fixed the oven fan.  In the summer I plan to have him paint my exterior wood trim.  He has a large number of “before” and “after” pictures and you should look at them.  He is a perfectionist and is not satisfied until the finished look is perfect.  I would be fine if the work looked “just OK” and not perfect.  The cost of his repair of the dry rot in my doors and windows was much less than replacing the doors and windows.
