I am committed to improving student's test scores, grades and confidence in the area of Math in a effective, fun and personalized approach to best meet each individual needs. I have a Master's degree in Civil Engineering and have been tutoring various levels of Math for over 25 years at both American and French Schools. I have taught math to hundreds of students and my areas of expertise are: -Arithmetic -Pre-Algebra -Algebra I -Algebra II -Geometry Fees range from $50-$70 depending on students class I offer tutoring online only, via Zoom. Ms. Dea has been my daughter’s math tutor for more than 6 months now, focusing on Algebra 1. I’ve seen a noticeable improvement in my daughter’s confidence, problem-solving skills, and overall performance in math. She breaks down concepts clearly, explains multiple strategies, and makes sure the material truly sticks. My daughter feels comfortable asking questions and is no longer intimidated by algebra — which is a huge change from where she started.

My son (13) has been working with Dea for a little over 8 months. He was failing miserably failing math (55). Dea’s skills are unmatched compared to the tutor he had prior. Dea has been EXTREMELY knowledgeable and patient. Her approach is structured, she reviews the work, and gives him practice work even if he’s done or has no homework. They work until the last minute of each session. She will review the work until he says that he understands it and even then, she will give him practice questions to ensure this! His confidence has changed and he is more prepared when there’s a test. He beams with excitement with his now passing grades! That is all thanks to Dea. My son will definitely continue to work with her. He is now passing math with an 84 and still working for a better grade. I see the growth and appreciate her and it is my pleasure to recommend her to anyone in doubt! She’s the real deal!

I recommend Dea 100 %. She is amazing. She knows her stuff and teaches in a very calm and professional way. At first I hesitated because it was online but now I am glad I hace it a chance and realize this is a great way. She makes it easy to understand and has no hesitation when teaching. Now I have both my sons with her. They have had tutoring before but have better results academic wise now. And they both love her.
