Jose and his team are currently repairing my peeling late 1940s wooden house in Oakland with expert prep, attention to detail and excellent workmanship. I was looking for this quality of work and am stunned that I was able to find it, met all expectations and I had alot. A very nice knowledgable man, he will be able to answer any questions. Jose and his team did a superb job with painting the majority of my house (with exception of a few 2nd floor bedrooms) in Benjamin Moore's White Dove, which included high ceilings, staircase area, all walls, and baseboards. He was a pleasure to work with, very professional, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, efficient (took 2.25 days), and provided a very competitive price. He took great care with covering all furniture, fixtures, and flooring while painting. Jose even went above and beyond in going to the store to replace our vent covers for us at no additional charge! I would highly recommend him for any painting projects you may have. Thank you so much, Big Guy Painting!!

Great experience working with Jose!! Quote was given very quickly and scheduling was a breeze. Earlier experience with other painters left us with a bad taste and we were very apprehensive and even brought up a couple of points to Jose. Since we were not present during the entire project, we were nervous when everything was done and we had to visit first time. But lo and behold, the job was close to immaculate!! No new paint stains, no residual dirt/paint etc left around. Not only was the painting itself excellent, the clean up was also close to perfect.
Will definitely reach out to Jose for my future projects!

yes my price is based on hours the standard price is $45.00 per hour per worker, we can give a fix price or we can work by hour
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The most important think to do first is to understand what's the need of the home owner, is the place a rental and need a cost efficient work, is the owner looking a a perfect job that may require to do more preparation to the walls, is the owner looking for a really good job but the budget is limited, is the owner looking for the best job possible using the most expensive paint, I think that understanding the home owner its the key for a good relationship and help us to deliver exactly what the owner is looking for
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I did start working for a general contractor when i was 24 years old i learned all the remodeling process we were doing to many painting jobs and, i always enjoyed more working in painting than anything else, that's when i decided to open my own painting company to start doing only what i like the very most
